Prayer For When You Don’t Feel Like Praying For Your Husband

Here is a powerful prayer for when you don’t know how to pray for your husband, you are too lazy to pray, or don’t feel like praying for him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today, I come to You to ask for strength and commitment to pray. I would like to pray for my husband ______, but I find it difficult because of _________.

I pray that you forgive my complaining instead of bringing my concerns to you.

Help me to forgive him for the past and release any grudge I hold against him.

Teach me how to relate with him, and teach me how to love him in a way that he can perceive. Give me patience with him and open my eyes to see his good side. Let us both treat each other with love, respect, and understanding.

Teach him also how to relate with me, show him when he has wronged me, and help him change where he needs to. Wherever I hurt him, please help him forgive me and let go of any resentment he may hold towards me.

Lord, please help me build the habit of praying for my husband. Give me the words to use and show me the areas to cover in prayer.

If my heart’s intentions are not right, change them and help my desires align with Your will. Where I doubt, replace my unbelief with faith. Help me pray without doubt and believe that whatever I ask, you will answer.

I submit my marriage to your hands today, please make our paths straight. In Jesus’ Name, I pray,

Amen
