God has commanded your husband to love you just as he loves his own body (Ephesians 5:28). This kind of love requires wisdom, discernment, and strength. Your husband needs a deep reliance on God for him to love you the way Christ loved the church.

1. Ask God to Help Him Love You Like Christ Loves the Church

Prayer
Lord, please teach my husband what it means to love his wife as Christ loved the church. Encourage him where he feels discouraged and remind him to look to You for strength and guidance. Give him wisdom and surround him with godly counsel. Convict his heart where he may have sinned and help him repent. Show me how to support and encourage him rather than criticize him.
